TOU 3.0 November Life Mastery Class –

How To Stay Healed: Keys To Maintaining Your Deliverance

Speaker: Bev Tucker

Main focus points:

  1. How to stay healed and maintain deliverance
  2. Making decisions
  • Ending double-mindedness
  • Creating boundaries
  • Changing habits – establishing good habits to walk into the things of God.

Sow a thought, reap an act.

Sow an act, reap a habit.

Sow a habit, reap a character.

Sow a character reap a destiny.

You first act on your thoughts. Right thoughts only come from the Word of God and acting on them will establish good habits. Listening to negative thoughts or self-defeating ones will establish poor habits.

Unsurrendered areas:

Many times we want to give Jesus, some not all of our stuff but He wants and requires it ALL. The spaces that we do not surrender are spaces/doors for the enemy to steal victory and create torment.

Additionally, we should also check our focus points because sometimes although they are good things, we spend too much time thinking about them and it creates an idol out of them. It is important to keep our focus on God and keep Jesus at the center of all things.

Prayer for Surrender:

Lord Jesus, I invite You to come into my life and I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. You said if I come to You, You would not cast me away. So Jesus, I come to You now and I surrender every area of my life to You. I invite You and I surrender to You Lord. I ask You to be the Lord of my mind, my thoughts, my soul, my body, my spirit. I ask You to be the Lord of my feelings, my emotions, my will; Lord of my decisions, Lord of my family, Lord of my relationships. Jesus, I ask You to be Lord of my time, my possessions, my work, my entertainment, and my relationship with you. I thank You Jesus that You are my Lord and Savior. In Jesus name, Amen.

To stay free, you must exercise your God-given authority. We have problems staying free because we have areas that are unsurrendered and we are not walking in obedience.

Making Decisions:

Decision definition – the act of making up one’s mind, a judgement that you make to one side or the other; a firmness in your life

If you can’t be decisive, you’re double-minded and will be incapable of making boundaries in your life.

Boundary definition – a  limiting line; a border that has a limit can be for others and yourself. It is important to set them for both.

** Key point: Set boundaries with what you are thinking about. Bring EVERY thought captive to the word of God. **

Align your thoughts with God.

Declare the word over your life daily. Study and read daily.

What goes in, is what comes out.

Guard your thoughts. Make the decision to push out the negative thoughts.

The negative thoughts are to get you off of your victory so they must be brought under captivity.

In James 1:5 if you lack wisdom ask for it. Double-minded men go back and forth.

This comes into play when you are trying to make decisions, especially big ones. Ask for wisdom, by faith make the decision and believe that God has directed you.

Seek the Lord for wisdom. Trust and listen to the Holy Spirit in you guiding you. If the thought you have doesn’t line up with the word of God, then it needs to be cast down.

Colossians 3:15 – let the peace of God rule

The lack of peace is the guide saying don’t take that route.

Verses on making a decision:

Joshua 24:15

1 Kings 18:21

Make a decision to follow God wholeheartedly. Sometimes we rely on grace being there to catch our mess but you are still subject to reap what you sow from acting indecisively.

Decision comes from asking for wisdom, building your spirit man, having the word of God in your heart and speaking it. Making a decision makes you stable to maintain deliverance.

God is not the author of instability.

James 1:5-8

Verse 8 gives the full definition of double-mindedness

Having 2 minds is the description of confusion.

Confusion is the lack of understanding, uncertainty, panic or breakdown of order.

Double-mindedness results in a lifetime of bad relationships and relationships require stability.

Psalms 12:2 – more about unstable thoughts

Genesis 49:4 – Instability keeps you from excelling

When you feel inadequate it is self-rejection. You have the authority to speak over it and take back what rightfully belongs to you and command it to go.

Prayer to break self-rejection:

We command the spirit of rejection to go right now in the name of Jesus. We break off self-rejection, self-doubt and all feelings of inadequacy. I break it off of you right now in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

** now take a deep breath and release it now.

Walking in indecision establishes poor habits in our life. Habits can have spiritual forces behind them, make the decision to cast it out. A decision will break a habit, NOT 28 days.

Things will not change without you making a decision. Put the word in your heart and stand against it. Doing so will allow you to stand strong and proclaim THUS SAITH THE LORD.

James 4:7 – Submit to the Lord. Resist the devil and he will flow.

Be God conscious NOT self-conscious.

Pray in the Holy Ghost -> the more you do it, the  more you feel a shift to move more towards God. It allows you to move closer to Him to birth things in and through you.

Imagination & Thought Processes

The enemy is strategic in his schemes against you. He uses fear or doubt to attack your thoughts. False imaginations attack your thought life. We have to superimpose the word of God over his negative thoughts.

Imagination definition – the power of forming pictures

You see a picture and imagine the thought instead of the word of God. Instead see yourself healed, whole and prospering.

Make your own to remix to Psalms 23 and declare what you want from the shepherd. Not just using material things but also things of the Spirit.

You shall decree and declare and it will be established use this to invoke the boundaries over your thoughts. Establish habits by becoming purposeful in your actions. Imaginations can be negative thought patterns, cycles of defeat. You begin to see or hear yourself in doubt, condemnation, or inadequacy. You want to access your thoughtlife and speak of things that haven’t even happened. The devil is not creative. He uses the negativity to keep us from being creative.

Jeremiah 7:23-24

The enemy moves off of fear False Evidence Appearing Real. You must come out of agreement in it. Break with the thought of you’re not enough? Who said you weren’t? God says that you are more than enough.

How to Stay Free:

Consistently yield all of the areas of your life to the Lord.

  • A key to that is obedience. Decide to be obedient no matter what. There is a blessing in obedience.
  • Praying in the Spirit, establishes and develops a sensitivity to God. It will qualify your decisions and boundaries.

To receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, first receive Jesus as Lord and Savior and ask Him to forgive you.

Pray for the Gift of the Holy Ghost –

Lord Jesus, You said if I come to You, You would in no way cast me out. In Luke 11:13, You said that “If those who are evil, give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

By Acts 2:4 they were filled and began to speak

Father, You said if I would ask You would fill me with the Holy Spirit. So Father, right now I ask that You would fill me and baptize me with the Holy Spirit right now in the name of the Lord Jesus. Holy Spirit, I ask that You would fill me to overflow. And Father by faith I will begin to speak in other tongues and pray in my prayer language just as they did in Acts 2:4, in the name of Jesus.

Now begin to embrace your heavenly language. Yield your voice to the Holy Spirit.

James 1:19-25 gives steps to how to stay delivered.

  1. Be a doer of the word of God.
  2. Present yourself as living sacrifice and bring your thoughts into subjection (also

Romans 12:2)

  1. Crucify yourself. In other words tell yourself NO! (Go back to the piece on setting boundaries for yourself)

Be sure to consult the manual for prayers to renounce and come out of agreement and to break legal rights. You can read through it more than once, each time you do, a new layer will be revealed.

Prayer to come out of agreement with instability, double-mindedness, etc:

Lord in the name of Jesus, I ask for forgiveness. I repent for (insert whatever you need to here). I renounce it.

(Now speak to your situation)

I am done with you and I will not submit to you another day. You are not my lord. You are not my ruler and you will not rule over my life any longer in the name of Jesus. I chose to serve God and God alone. It is my choice, my decision and on this, day I break agreement with you in the name of Jesus. I know the truth and you are a liar. His truth has set me free and I declare that I am free in deed. So I renounce all familiarity, all comfort, all pleasure that is associated and i cut it off this day in the name of Jesus because Jesus has delivered me from you into my hands. This day I draw the bloodline and you will no longer cross this line and you will not go into my future. You cannot have my seed. Today I am breaking out. Your reign in my life is over in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Pastor Bev’s Prayer over us:

Father in the name of Jesus, I come against and I break off discouragement, hopelessness, double-mindedness, negative self-judgement and thought patterns, feelings of indecision and overwhelm. I command instability to go in the name of Jesus.

I command fear of failure to come off of God’s people right now in the name of Jesus. Doubt, unbelief and intimidation, all the insecurity and second-guessing I break it from you this night in the name of Jesus.

Father I declare your blessings over your people. I bind the enemy over them and he will not steal their healing, deliverance, or finances. Lord they will not have loss. We break off poverty and insufficiency. Father I break off fear of the future and generational cycles and curses from their lives in the name of Jesus.

I pray over any person who has been broken from any abuse and dismissed themselves because they have felt inadequate. We repent and ask God that he reunifies them and heal those places. And we all say Amen

Q & A

Question 1 – How do you effectively use the books as tools to unlock things?

Answer 1 – The manuals contain the prayers and wealth of other information. Work with a partner and begin to break things over your lives. The Rejection book will release you to be who God has called you to be. Your identity is your destiny and the enemy wants to steal it from you. There are prayers and scriptures that speak to your identity. The Children’s deliverance manual is good for parents to begin breaking things off of their children, especially while they are young.

Question 2 – Discipline was a buzzword. Why is daily discipline important?

Answer 2 –  Without a disciplined life you won’t grow. Set some time and some boundaries to do things to spend time with God. Decide what you want more, the way you’re living or growth with God.

Declare the 23rd Psalm over yourself and fill it with decrees, both spiritual and material, to receive blessings from the Lord and to be a blessing to others in the name of the Lord.  (See the video examples, her declarations and explanations are phenomenal!)

Question 3 – What do you do if you have been speaking and declaring for a while but nothing is happening or hasn’t happened yet?

Answer 3 – Check the things you say when it’s not happening. Make sure that you are not making dual declarations, meaning at one time you are speaking the positive thing but in the next minute or at a later time you are speaking against the thing that you’ve declared. There may also be an issue of deliverance and there are still open doors to the things to counteract what you decree. Lastly, start praying in tongues more to gain revelation and closeness with God.

Question 4 – What is the difference between struggling with something and being double-minded?

Answer 4 – The struggle is a sign that there may be double-mindedness present. To stop it you give the struggle to God and find out what the word of God says about it. The word will help you target what to speak, how you pray and what you should pursue.

Question 5 – How do you know if you’ve been delivered?

Question 6 – What are some practical means to battle thoughts and cast them out?

The answers to both of these questions were too good and too detailed to begin to attempt to summarize. Please watch the replay and get what you need.
